What areas do you cover?

Surfcoast Cleaning caters to locations across the Geelong and Surf Coast region, including areas such as Anglesea, Barwon Heads, Bellbrae, Jan Juc, Ocean Grove, and Torquay. If your suburb is not listed feel free to contact us, I'm sure we can make an arrangement!
 

Is it necessary for me to be present during the cleaning service?

The decision is entirely yours. You can choose to be present, allow the cleaner entry and leave, or opt to be away during the service. Providing access through a key or lockbox is also welcome. It's worth noting that cleaners typically work most efficiently when the property is empty of occupants and pets.

Do you clean beneath furniture?

Moving and cleaning under small items and light furniture is apart of the service. Additionally, vacuuming/mopping beneath heavy furniture where feasible. However, we refrain from moving heavy items due to the potential risk of floor scratching. If customers wish to move furniture themselves, we are more than happy, but we won't be instructed to do so.

How can I cancel my cleaning service?

Cancellation can be done at any time, either online or over the phone, as we don't have lock-in contracts. Please note that all cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled service. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a fee, covering the cleaner's loss of wages. In some cases, if we can re-allocate work to cover the cleaner's time, we may waive this fee.
 

Do your cleaners undergo police checks?

Certainly, all our cleaners must complete required checks before commencing work. After passing a phone interview with our office staff, they undergo an interview with our director, covering guidelines and procedures. Extensive cleaning experience is a prerequisite for working with us.
 

What if damage occurs during the service?

In the rare event of damage resulting from our service, please contact within 48 hours, providing photos. If the damage is due to our team's fault/negligence, we'll aim to repair the item. Depending on the repair value, up to three quotes may be necessary. When repair isn't feasible, we'll seek a suitable replacement, requiring proof of purchase within 15 days of lodging the complaint.
 

What is the cost of hiring a cleaner?

Surfcoast Cleaning offers professional cleaning services at reasonable, flat rates. The objective is to ensure satisfaction with your service, and pricing is individually assessed based on property size and scope of requirements.
 

How can I apply to work for Surfcoast Cleaning?

At the moment Surfcoast cleaning isn't undergoing applications for new staff.
